It seems that Qualcomm has recently unveiled the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 chip which will be embedded into most entry-level laptops and Chromebooks that are priced less than ~RM1200. While not much is known in regards to the exact laptops that will come with the aforementioned chip, it does give us a better idea of what kind of performance to expect from budget-oriented laptops.
To go into more detail regarding the chip, it consists of 2 Kryo 468 chip that’s capable of achieving clock speeds of up to 2.55GHz, dual-channel LPDDR4X memory bus, Hexagon 692 DSP, Spectra 255 ISP, as well as a Snapdragon X15 modem.
