Epic Games just announced that its expansion will go further as it has partnered with Telefónica, one of the largest telecommunications service providers worldwide to make the app more accessible.
According to the latest press release, this new long-term partnership will make both Epic Games Store and Fortnite appear on millions of Telefónica Android devices. With this, the Epic Games Store will now be pre-installed on all new compatible Android devices on the Telefónica network in Spain, the UK, Germany and Spanish-speaking Latam.
Additionally, Telefónica users will also download Fortnite, Fall Guys and Rocket League Sideswipe as well as third-party games in the future. Epic Games and Telefónica also plan to expand and bring more benefits to mobile players in the mobile network. For your information, Telefónica has 392 million customers in Europe and Latin America.
Epic Games has been trying to launch its app around the world but is in a constant battle with both Apple and Google due to "policies". At the moment, Malaysians can install Fortnite on their Android phones but via APK installation.
