Interestingly, a rather unique company that goes by the name Escobar Inc, has recently unveiled their Fold 1 smartphone and it is priced at USD349(~RM1456) for the 128GB variant and USD499(~RM2083) for the 512GB storage variant. The Fold 1, as if the name isn’t obvious enough, is a foldable smartphone which is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset as well as up to 8GB of RAM.
Based on a statement by Escobar, the device uses a special plastic material which helps improve the reliability as well as durability of the folding mechanism. Not only that, but they also mentioned that they will have up to 100000 units of the Fold 1 ready for sale at launch.
