If you grew up during the booming internet era, you might be familiar with MySpace. Fast forward almost 20 years later, the Gen Z will also get their iteration of the popular messenger platform. That said, what should you know about it?

For your information, the platform could launch globally in June. The creator of this NoSpace, Tiffany Zhong says this is a tribute to the current trend for the Y2K nostalgia. Interestingly, there are already 500000 on its waiting list. Just like MySpace, NoSpace will also allow you to personalise your profile. That includes colours, fonts and backgrounds.

In addition, the main attraction of the platform is mainly fuelled by nostalgia. The Gen Zs might have missed what it feels like to live through the MySpace era, but they will be able to re-live the good memories of what social media used to be. Interestingly, the new platform could also integrate older MySpace features such as “top 8” closest friends, and the ability to share the music one is currently listening to.

Moreover, we have yet to confirm other details or the Malaysia release date for NoSpace. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly. After all, we are long due for another MySpace experience.
