Evernote comes back into play with fresh new design

There are several options when it comes to mobile productivity, but the app that many used to consider the best would be Evernote. Not many seem to use it these days, so the company has been working on bringing the app back to prominence. To achieve that, Evernote is bringing a redesigned version of the app for all platforms.

According to the Evernote (via TechSpot), the app was completely rebuilt from the ground up. The user interface now sports a cleaner modern look and you can now do more. Specifically, it's now easier to add images, audio recordings, sketches, and more. The document scanner has also been streamlined for faster optical image recognition.

Besides the interface upgrades, it's now easier to create new notes, customise them, and find them even when you're on the go. Evernote has also improved the functionality of checklists, headers, and a new formatting toolbar. Moreover, there is now a real-time search suggestion feature and you can filter by tags to quickly find the note you want.

Unfortunately, the new version is currently available for iOS users only. The Android, Mac, and Windows versions are still not out but are expected to be updated in the coming weeks. With that said, would you be interested in trying out the redesigned Evernote? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave for more news.
