We have written some news about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. If the reports are true, then we should see the launch in October. However, there is a new piece of information that the phone could be launched with an Exynos 2400e chipset globally.

Although using an Exynos chipset is not surprising, what's surprising is that according to Geekbench, the Galaxy S24 FE in the US and South Korea won't be any different from Asian regions because the phone could be equipped with the Exynos 2400e. If you didn't know, the US and Korean markets usually use the Snapdragon treatment.

As you can see in the screenshot above, the model number is S5E9945 which is the same as the Exynos 2400. Furthermore, the single-core score is also seen as lower than before on average, so there is a good chance that the Exynos 2400e is being integrated. Compared with the Exynos 2400, the Exynos 2400e has a slightly lower core speed of 3.11GHz (vs 3.2GHz). While the core speed is reduced, this should also improve a longer battery life (on paper).

Exynos chipsets tend to get a bad rep whenever compared to Snapdragon but to be fair, Samsung has been improving it over time. For example, the current Exynos 2400 chip has been proven to perform better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 counterpart, as seen in these tests done here.
