This year seems to be the year for TV Shows, just right after The Mandalorian's debut on Disney+, two more TV projects were announced and certainly a nostalgia mark for old-time fans. First, WarnerMedia officially stated that popular sitcom Friends will be making a comeback, then Netflix will be collaborating with Nickelodeon for a multi-year deal for original animated shows. Here's what you need to know.

Starting with Friends, the reunion will be streaming on HBO Max with all the original cast members - Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc - as well as the original show creators, David Crane and Marta Kauffman. Initially, Friends were streaming on Netflix first but Warnermedia got the rights after offering a higher rate (USD 425 million). It's said that HBO Max will launch in May 2020, which the show could also make its return. According to sources, the cast and creators were reluctant to for this reunion but WarnerMedia Entertainment Chairman, Bob Greenblatt managed to convince them.

Besides this, there isn't much information but this is what Netflix Vice President, Melissa Cobb said about the new extended partnership:

"Nickelodeon has generated scores of characters that kids love, and we look forward to telling wholly original stories that re-imagine and expand on the worlds they inhabit. We’re thrilled to continue collaborating with Brian Robbins, Ramsey Naito, and the creative team at Nickelodeon in new ways as we look to find fresh voices and bring bold stories to our global audience on Netflix."
