Today, FIFA announced and launched FIFA+ as a free streaming service. Available on the website here, as well as on iOS and Android, FIFA+ is a platform where football fans can access free live matches, past games, original content and many more. It's also available in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish.

According to sources, football fans can stream over 40,000 live matches per year. This includes both men's and women's matches from 100 member associations in all six confederations. Even leagues that are not known such as from lesser-known countries and lower divisions will be broadcasted. A total of 1400 matches will be on livestream in the first month, FIFA said

If you take a trip to the FIFA+ website, you will also be able to enjoy original content such as a film about Ronaldinho and many other legendary footballers. You can also check out past matches in the archived footage that includes the World Cup or even just the highlights. Moreover, you may check out an individual player or compilations on best goals, best assists and so on.

FIFA said that FIFA+ will be ad-free for the time being and may include them in the future. On top of that, the organization could look into putting football into gaming, the social community and even go for a subscription-based method depending on how the industry unfolds in the future. So for now, we can enjoy the free content on FIFA+.
