We have been talking about Facebook's Messenger Rooms recently and starting today onwards, the feature is now rolling out globally! To refresh your memory, Messenger Rooms is a new feature that allows you to create a room for video calls with up to 50 people. Here's how you activate Messenger Rooms.
Messenger Rooms is available on both iOS and Android so make sure you have the latest Facebook and Messenger version, also the rollout may take some time so please do be patient. As for the desktop version, you will need to download the Messenger Desktop app from the Microsoft Store or Mac App Store, don't worry it's free. By the way, there is no time limit when using Messenger Rooms. Even if someone doesn't have a Facebook account, he or she can still join via an invitational link!
As an online software, Facebook will monitor and might add more features in the coming months, so try it out if you can. Personally, we think this is the next best Zoom alternative program to use.
