Yesterday, Facebook introduced a unifying payment service that works across Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram to the public. The payment service called ‘Facebook Pay’ has started to roll out to users in the US after its announcement. It is said that they are working on bringing the service to more countries as well!

Since many other companies are taking the initiatives to bring cashless payments to consumers, the goal of Facebook Pay is to make the transactions on the company’s apps for convenience's sake as well. The service will benefit many platforms like fundraisers, in-game purchases, event tickets, person-to-person payments and more.

With Facebook Pay, you are allowed to add your preferred payment method once and not having to re-enter your payment information the next time you make any transaction. You can also set up Facebook Pay app-by-app. For instance, you can choose which apps by the company you want to use Facebook Pay with.

Furthermore, it also provides all the simple functions such as view payment history, manage payment methods and update settings to the users. If you have encountered any problem using the service, you can get assisted by a real-time customer support via live chat too.

Facebook Pay is going to make the users’ lives easier especially for those who often make transactions on the apps by the company. It also can be considered as an opportunity for small businesses to stand out with conducting hassle-free purchases with their customers.
