While we're still waiting for Dark Mode to arrive on Facebook, a famous blogger for discovering codes from popular apps has found out a new design tweak for Facebook that might be launched in the future. Jane Manchun Wong has announced on her Twitter that Facebook will bring a new adaptive colour background for profile view, let's check out what it does!
The adaptive colour background will pick the nearest colour according to your cover picture and use it as the background colour. After applying, your profile will no longer be white but instead will have different colours for different profiles depending on what kind of cover picture that you are using.
Facebook improves the adaptive color Profile background prototype, now:

- adapts based on cover photo rather than profile picture
- picks the nearest color from a preset rather than calculating the average, mitigates the "ugly" color issue

Other than that, it is mentioned that the company is still fixing the 'ugly colour' issue. We think that it might be the issue of using colour that is not that 'appealing' for the users. After all, it is hard to determine the colour from just the cover picture and make it look pretty. However, don't expect Facebook to launch it soon as they haven't made any official announcement yet. By the way, don't forget that we still haven't gotten our Dark Mode yet!
