Recently, Meta announced the AI Mode feature on Facebook. This is a new feature that can be used to find answers to the questions that are on the minds of users. Just like the Google Search bar. So, what’s the big deal?
The algorithm will also consider other users’ opinions
For your information, the AI Mode uses the power of Meta AI to find answers to questions based on content uploaded to Facebook, Reels and Groups. Meta says the most relevant answers based on other users' opinions can be provided, compared to results from search engines.
Additionally, Meta introduced the ability to generate quick video montages based on the content of the camera gallery and also transform the clothes worn in the photo into the 2026 World Cup football team jersey. Both of these features also use Meta AI to automatically perform tasks that previously had to be done manually.
Personally, we feel this feature is a bit redundant. After all, everyone in Malaysia is a bit spoilt for choice as they still have Google, ChatGPT and various AI sites that can do the same thing. What are your thoughts on the news? Do you think this will be a hit among Malaysians? Feel free to leave your comments below.
