Fan made videos are nice to look at, but quite often they aren't taken seriously. This is the same case with the upcoming OnePlus 6 which is scheduled to come at the end of the second quarter, where someone made a video on how the flagship would look like based on rumours. Check out the video below.
Produced by Science and Knowledge channel, the first thing that you will notice is the top-notch design, which we posted about it a few days ago and according to the video, the display size is going to be really huge up to 6.28-inch, the display material will be in optic AMOLED and this is the same as the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror edition. The resolution will be in 2280 x 1080 pixels, so yes, it's Full HD+.
For the rest of the specs, the video continued with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset (not surprised), an Adreno 630, 8GB of RAM, and two storage variants of 64GB and 128GB (or maybe a 256GB). OxygenOS is the latest 6 based on Android 8.1 Orei and its battery is quite good too, packing at 3400mAh. Of course, there is a pair of cameras behind, 16MP sensor for each and the front uses a single 16MP sensor as well.
On top of that, there are some new rumours about the OnePlus 6 that we haven't heard about it until now, the flagship may use an under-display fingerprint sensor and supports 3D facial recognition too. Another Face Unlock feature? Yup, but more simplified (whatever that means).
Lastly, they also stated the phone could cost $614 (~RM2403) and that doesn't seem very far fetch since OnePlus models tend to lesser than that in Malaysia. But what do you think? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more OnePlus news at TechNave.com.
