Fender Audio has officially arrived in Malaysia, marking its entry into the premium personal audio market with the launch of the ELIE portable speaker series and MIX headphones. Unveiled at CES 2026 and recognised with multiple Best of CES awards, the launch signals Fender Audio’s ambition to bring its legendary sound heritage into modern, lifestyle-focused audio products.
ELIE Speakers
The ELIE portable Bluetooth speaker series, short for Extremely Loud Infinitely Expressive, is available in two models, the ELIE 6 and ELIE 12. Each speaker integrates built-in subwoofers with a Waves System on a Chip implementation, described as a first of its kind in portable speakers globally.

This architecture rethinks how DSP and system-level processing work together, enabling higher volume output, reduced distortion and improved power efficiency compared to other speakers in the same size class. Fender Audio positions the ELIE series not just as a music playback device, but as a flexible audio hub designed for both home and on-the-move use.
Beyond sound quality, the ELIE speakers support up to four simultaneous audio channels with low latency. Users can combine Bluetooth sources, wired inputs via XLR or quarter-inch cables and additional wireless channels using compatible Fender Audio accessories. The speakers can also be paired in stereo mode or synchronised across multiple units for wider sound coverage in larger spaces.
MIX Headphones

Alongside the speakers, Fender Audio has introduced the MIX headphones, which allow certain components to be replaced over time, extending product lifespan and adapting to changing preferences. The headphones are powered by 40mm graphene drivers and supported by hybrid active noise cancellation, dual microphones with environmental noise cancellation and both wired and wireless playback options.
Included with the MIX headphones is the FWD Tx USB-C transmitter, enabling lossless LHDC V audio, low-latency LC3 transmission and Auracast support across a wide range of devices. Battery life is a major highlight, with Fender Audio claiming up to 100 hours of endurance, positioning the MIX headphones for users who prioritise long listening sessions without frequent charging.
A Partnership Built Around Modern Listening
The brand is owned by Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and operated under licence by Riffsound Pte. Ltd., with the Malaysian launch positioning Fender Audio as a serious new contender in the personal and portable audio space. Riffsound is responsible for designing and manufacturing the products.
The partnership aims to translate Fender’s iconic sonic legacy into products suited for contemporary listening habits, focusing on portability, flexibility and everyday usability. Riffsound CEO Mah Chernwei said the ELIE and MIX products are built for how people listen today, blending craftsmanship, modern aesthetics and tonal precision to make premium sound more accessible in daily life.
Pricing and Availability in Malaysia
In Malaysia, the ELIE 12 speaker is priced at RM1899, while the ELIE 6 speaker and MIX headphones are each priced at RM1399. All three products are scheduled to be officially available from March 2026 through both online and offline retail channels. They will be sold via Fender Audio’s official stores on Lazada, Shopee and Swap Asia, with additional product details available on the Fender Audio and Swap Asia websites.
