You heard of it and you know it, the fidget spinner is one of the mysterious yet fascinating toys today and causing a craze among the kids, even up to the point of schools are banning it (lol). Initially designed to aid children with autism, many people including adults are even taking it a bit too far trying various and creative ways to make it fun and cool. It might seem like a harmless toy, but it can be quite dangerous if used intentionally to destroy things like how GizmoSlip did with the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Spinning the toy up to 1000 rpm from a compressed air can, the glass of the phone obviously did crack but surprisingly quite resistant. In three tests, the first one passed like a walk in a park, same goes to the third but with a minor scratch. It will get damaged heavily if forced, phone is still usable, though. Just in case you’re wondering how much fps is needed to record this, that’s 18,500 fps.

Even the back got cracked

If you’re curious to try how fast the spinner can go, please use a clamp or something safe to hold it as you can potentially lose your fingers (not kidding). Play safe and have fun!
