Great news for iPad users, Apple just announced that Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro will be available for iPad. For those who don't know, these are powerful video and music editing tools that video editors tend to use. However, only selected iPads will have it.

According to Apple, Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad will arrive in the Apple App Store as subscriptions for $4.99 (~RM22) per month or $49 (~RM218) per year with a one-month free trial. It should be noted that Final Cut Pro is only compatible with M1 chip iPad models or later, whereas the Logic Pro will be available on A12 Bionic chip iPad models or later. Both apps require at least iPadOS 16.4 to function.

Apple said that both Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro will have all-new touch interfaces that allow users to do more, allowing them to record, edit, finish, and share. For Final Cut Pro, editors can import supported media from Files or Photos, and save it directly inside a Final Cut Pro project. Final Cut Pro for iPad also supports the ability to import projects created in iMovie for iOS, and iPad users can export their Final Cut Pro projects to Mac.

At the same time, music creators can make a soundtrack in Logic Pro for iPad and export it into Final Cut Pro for iPad. Logic Pro for iPad also supports the ability to open projects created in GarageBand for iOS. Lastly, iPad users can export their finished songs in a variety of compressed and lossless audio formats, as well as individual audio track stems.
