So this just came in, the official Final Fantasy VII Remake Twitter account has just announced that PlayStation 4 owners can now download the much-anticipated game demo on the console right now. It can be accessed through the PlayStation Network or you can just simply tap on the link here provided in the Twitter post.

In the demo, you'll be able to play the first chapter of the game which is the Mako reactor 1 mission where you first meet Cloud jumping off the train at the station. As a demo, do note that you won't be able to bring forward any save files over to the full version. The game will be released worldwide on 10 April 2020 but it won't be the full version, as Square Enix plans to release the game in "episodes".

The Final Fantasy VII Remake has been in development even before its official announcement in 2015. It has sure taken them a long time but we think it will be worth the wait as Square Enix doesn't want to disappoint their fans. After all, the game is a pretty big deal and how it changed gaming forever in the 90's as one of the most popular Japanese RPG games ever.
