Following the trend of other smartphone makers offering their own user interfaces, ASUS have revealed the ZenUI with their latest range of ASUS ZenFone smartphones. The ZenUI takes the best from the latest batch of user interfaces while making it their own and this includes providing flatter icons while providing a not so invasive user interface like some others we could name. Integrating well with Google Now and Google Calendar the ZenUI is smooth and zippy, while providing a complete toolbox of features and functions that should make your ASUS ZenFone smartphone even more useful right out of the box. Here is a break-down of some of the more notable ZenUI elements:

What's Next
Working in tandem with the Google Calender and Weather feature the What's Next feature combines all of these reminders and information into a simple to understand timeline. It offers smart reminders for upcoming events and tasks while providing Timely Notification for unusual, postponed, canceled or changed events so that you'll always stay on top of things.

Do It Later
This Pocket-like feature let's you track everything you'd like to do later on your device including making a call, checking out a link on your browser, reading or writing an email or SMS, watch a YouTube video and much more. The Do It Later feature is done in a dual-timeline card presentation so you can easily keep track of all the things you want to do later.

Share Link
The Share Link uses WiFi connectivity to transfer files P2P or Phone-to-Phone and does not require any Internet to work. It lets you share images, videos, music and even APKs while offering support for iOS and Android smartphones alongside other ASUS ZenUI powered devices.

Party Link
This share tool uses WiFi Direct and lets you beam content and files to nearby compatible devices. Unlike Share Link, it doesn't need a WiFi hotspot or router to work, nor does it need an Internet connection and also includes Password security for extra privacy.

Remote Link
Connect to your PC with the Remote Link so that you can control presentations or turn on videos or music. Working with the unrevealed ASUS Smart Gesture, it should also support gesture controls as well.

More features coming soon!

The above features are only a small set of the full ZenUI experience, as a whole bunch of other features will be available. This includes a chat messaging system powered by Omlet Chat, a Power Saving feature, an improved Gallery, gesture controls, a music player and an email client. We'll cover these ASUS ZenUI features more when we get the review unit so stay tuned for further updates.
