vivo is planning to announce its first foldable smartphone this year. Before that happens, a tipster has listed out some tech specs that could arrive with the device. Now, let's look at what we can expect from vivo's first attempt in the segment.

According to reputable tipster Digital Chat Station, the device could possibly be named 'vivo X Fold'. It might also come with a QHD+ display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Although the tipster didn't mention anything, the source took a guess that it's an OLED panel. Furthermore, there could also be a punch-hole cutout on the right side for the front-facing camera.

Besides the main display, the tipster has also given out information for the one on the outside. It's said to be measured 6.5 inches and offer a fullHD+ resolution. There should be support for a 120Hz refresh rate and expected to be an OLED panel as well. Meanwhile, the display's right side will be curved like other foldable smartphones that we've seen.

Undoubtedly, the vivo X Fold will go for the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 for its performance. In terms of longevity, it could feature a 4,600mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The device will also bring a quad-camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Finally, it's said to use ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners under both displays.
