Remember about the previous Fitbit news that looks like it was inspired by Evangelion? Well, turns out that it's a real thing and it's officially called Fitbit Ace 3. Designed and made for children, the official local price is RM328 and pre-order has already begun. It will soon be available in Malaysia on 29 March 2021. (updated)

When we say it's made for children, Fitbit is really serious about it as kids from age 6 and above are allowed to wear it. The Ace 3 sports a few typical smartband features, such as animated clock faces, new accessories, steps counter and it's also swim-proof. Depending on usage, it can last up to 8 days more or less.

If the kids are creative, they can also customize their goals and track their activities, as well as monitoring their stats. Parents can monitor their sleep tracking and bedtime reminders too. Speaking of parents, the children can connect with their parents in the Fitbit app and have fun via Family Face Off challenges to win virtual milestones, badges and trophies. Parent View function is included in the app for the parents to view their children's activities via a Fitbit Family account.

On top of the price, there are other straps available which are the Minions embossed silicone accessory bands (Despicable Blue and Mischief Black) for $29.95 (~RM123). Fitbit Ace 3 is available for pre-order today at Fitbit.com and major retailers in Malaysia including All IT Hypermarket, Flash Gadgets, Harvey Norman, Lazada, Timekeeper, Thunder Match and Shopee starting 29 March 2021.
