Fitbits have always been marketed for those who love tracking and monitoring their health. Joining their huge line of fitness watches with the Fitbit Versa 2. This smartwatch comes with an array of new features such as a battery life of over 5 days and built-in Amazon Alexa.
The device comes with an upgraded processor to make it faster. A larger AMOLED screen has been implemented as well for easy viewing. With the larger screen, the smartwatch is able to help users check on text notifications, view the calendar, control Spotify and more. When the device is left with the “Always on-display mode”, the smartwatch is able to last over 2 days. You don’t have to worry too much about the device hitting water as it is water resistant up to 50 meters.

What makes the smartwatch interesting is also the upgraded sleep tracker on the device. It comes with 4 different features to track sleep which are Sleep Score, Smart Wake, Sleep Mode and Estimated Oxygen Variation Graph. These features are designed to help users understand their sleep patterns better, ensuring better sleep and better health.
In addition, the smartwatch is fitted with a microphone to allow for fitness help from Amazon’s Alexa. It helps users locate the closest gym, figure out the calories for a dish and more. Alexa responds to questions with on screen text instead of talking back for convenience. Besides that, she can also respond to daily questions and tasks such as the weather and traffic. If users use an Android phone to connect to the device, they can even use the reply-to-texts feature.
There are over 3000 apps available on the device. To further personalize the watch as your own, there are many watch faces available as well as stat personalizations you can add on to your homescreen. Speaking of personalizations, the device also comes with different bands and accessories for different occasions such as Classic Bands, Sports Inspired Bands, Fashionable Leather and Suede bands and more. To make it even more fashionable, there’s even a designer collection featuring Kim Shui.
The Special Edition variant
The Fitbit Versa 2 retails for RM998 and the Special Edition variant goes for RM1068 (both available starting September 15). Alongside the Fitbit Versa 2, the Fitbit Aria Air smart scale was also launched for RM238 (available late September).
