Today, Nokia is proud to present their new 2019 smartphone lineup, this includes the revamped classic Nokia 210, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 1 Plus and finally (LIKE FINALLY), the Nokia flagship that we all have been waiting for, the world's first five-camera smartphone Nokia 9 PureView. With this, we will be focusing on the flagship because it has five cameras. The rest can wait, hehe.

The Nokia 9 PureView seems to squash all the previous rumours. During the presentation, it's said that all five cameras will work simultaneously instead of just one-by-one, producing into a 60MP photo with a combination of two colour sensors and three monochromatic (black and white) sensors. Each sensor is 12MP (F/1.8) and with five of them at the user's disposal, it can collect up to 10x the amount of light than a single colour sensor. Nokia intended this for mobile photographer enthusiasts, as it also has the ability to capture images in RAW "DNG" format on the phone and an Adobe Lightroom app available. Google Photos will be able to adjust the focal points on the RAW formats as well. Oh, the front camera is 20MP (F/1.8).

Quite a nice looking smartphone, no headphone jack on board, though, and there's a hidden ToF (time of flight) sensor there too as the sixth one

Low light photography is stunning

In the tech specs corner, the 5.99-inch OLED PureDisplay (Gorilla Glass 5) can go up to 2K resolution. It's running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage, a 3320mAh battery pack, that supports up to 28 hours in 4G network calls and runs on Android 9.0 Pie (Android One) out of the box. In addition to that, it also supports Qi Wireless Charging, an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP67 water and dust rating.

Nokia 9 Pureview has already started shipping and will be ready in March 2019 for $699 (~RM2848). It's not known if Malaysia is part of this but we can't wait to look forward to it! Stay tuned for more Nokia news only at TechNave.com.
