‘Flagship killer’ realme GT6 will officially launch in Malaysia

Previously, we shared how the realme GT6 was spotted on SIRIM, alluding to its imminent launch in Malaysia. Now, the company’s CEO and founder Sky Li has confirmed that the smartphone will officially be released in our country. 

In a feature on Forbes, Li touted the GT6 as the new ‘flagship killer’ and alluded to it being filled with AI features. In fact, he went as far as calling the device the ‘dawn of the smartphone AI’.


According to rumours, the ‘Next AI’ features that the smartphone will bring include AI Night Vision, AI Smart Removal, AI Smart Loop and AI Smart Search. Li asserted that the GT6 could be a flagship killer by integrating 3 AI functions, namely imaging, efficiency and personalisation. Furthermore, he confirmed that the device will launch in Malaysia an other markets in the region such as India, Indonesia, Thailand and more.
