In the last week, corporations in Malaysia have been looking for ways to help the flood victims recover. Aid from these companies have been appearing mostly in the form of discounts, and this trend is continuing with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and Perodua.

According to the Prime Minister (via MSN), TNB plans to offer a 100% rebate on electricity bill payments to flood victims for December 2021. Moreover, Perodua will provide free tow truck services and waive the labour fees, as well as offering spare parts for Perodua vehicles at 50% discounts. On the flip side, the government won't allow another round of i-Citra withdrawals of up to RM10000 from the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF).

With that said, what else do you think the government and private sector can do to provide aid to the flood victims? Share your thoughts in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
