Epic Games has announced that it is going full steam ahead to bring the popular game Fortnite back to the iPad after the European Commission ruled that the Apple tablets must also comply with the Digital Markets Act. Not only that, the company is even going a step further by bringing the Epic Games store to the iPad.

In a post on the Epic Games Newsroom X account, the company confirms that both Fortnite and the Epic Games store are coming to iPadOS. The post also quoted a Fortnite post on 26 January which announced that the game is coming back to iOS.

As reported by BGR, the European Commission ruled that both iPhone and iPad must comply with the Digital Markets Act. Specifically, Apple must allow for the availability of 3rd party app stores.

Of course, this rule only applies to Europe and it remains to be seen whether Apple will do the same for other regions, including Malaysia. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news.
