Four states Education Departments are introducing eSports programs for primary and secondary schools

Today, it was announced that the Kelab Sukan Elektronik Generasi Bijak (GenBijak e-Sports) will be collaborating with Kedah, Perak, Putrajaya and Johor State Education Departments (JPN) in succeeding the Generasi e-Sukan Sekolah 2021 program. This program has also received full support from the Malaysian e-Sports Federation (MESF), the Ministry of Youth & Sports (KBS) and realme Malaysia as the official sponsor. 

Starting from 6 March until August, GenBijak e-Sports is expecting that more than 30,000 students will in participating in the program with a total of 256 groups from primary and secondary schools. Under the theme Education in Games, the GES2021 program registration is in progress until 28 February and each group joining must be managed by a manager with permission by the parents. Each participant will also receive a state-level e-certificate.

In addition, a representative from Moonton Malaysia, publisher of Mobile Legend Malaysia will be giving a video speech on 'healthy gaming'. Mr Arif Shahir is also involved to speak on future career topics in e-Sports and short tazkirah slots from Ustaz celebrities for spiritual and physical filling.
