Friendly reminder - A special Twitter emoji for Merdeka and Malaysia Day begins tomorrow onwards

Some of you who use Twitter may already know but for those who don't - there will be a special Twitter emoji appearing in celebration of Merdeka. So just a friendly reminder, the special Twitter emoji which you can see from the cover image will only happen between 31 August to 16 September 2021.

The Special Twitter emoji was designed to allow Malaysians to celebrate the 64th National Day and Malaysia Day as part of the Caring Malaysia initiative. To use it and post it on your Twitter post, you can simply type in the hashtag #MalaysiaPrihatin, #MalaysiaMerdeka, #MenangBersama and #HariMalaysia, then the emoji will appear beside each word.

In a joint collaboration by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) with Twitter Inc., the group hopes that the special emoji will be used by Malaysians to freely express their feelings and a spirit of love for the country.
