If you are looking for something that is small and compact, yet delivers great images – the Fujifilm X100F may be your camera to look out for. The fourth generation of the enthusiast-focused compact series camera from Fujifilm shares the same dimension as the previous model, but now features the 24.3 megapixel X-Trans III APS-C sensor and the X-Processor Pro image processor from the X-T2.
What is new with the camera is the addition of the AF joystick that is also taken from the X-T2. This joystick can control the higher number of autofocus points (49 to 91) and also scrolling through the menu system. They also claims faster overall performance for the X100F, quoting a startup time of 0.5 sec and 0.2 sec shutter release. The lens on the camera is still the Fujinon 23mm F1 lens, but the CL-X100 wide-angle and TCL-X100 tele-conversion lenses have been updated to 'Mark II' versions.
The camera is set to be on sale around the world sometime in February, for about USD 1299 (~RM 5765). Will this be your next camera for when you are walking around the city to find inspiration? Stay tuned to TechNave for more Fujifilm news.
