Full specs and renders of the Redmi Pad emerge ahead of its launch next week

Xiaomi is set to launch the Redmi Pad alongside the Xiaomi 12T series on 4 October 2022 and we may not have to wait long to know the details of the tablet. This is because a few days prior to launch, its full specs list and even device renders have been revealed in a new report.

Shared by German tech publication Winfuture.de, the upcoming Redmi tablet will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with either 3 or 4GB of RAM. As for storage, the Redmi Pad will be offered in either 64 or 128GB UFS 2.2 storage options.

The tablet will also sport a 10.61-inch 90Hz LCD display with support for up to 400 nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 10-but colours and a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. The front of the tablet also houses an 8MP selfie camera with a 105-degree field of view. 

There’s also an 8MP camera at the back with autofocus support. Other notable specs include Android 12 vis MIUI OS for tablets and Dolby Atmos quad-speakers. However, the report didn’t mention the price of the tablet, its connectivity options and colour options. 

Do take this info with a grain of salt though as nothing is confirmed as of yet. Well, we just have to wait a few days to know for sure the specs and design of the tablet.
