Day by day, it seems there isn't a break from the Huawei P40 series rumours. With just a day left until the live stream event, someone managed to get their hands on the full tech specs details and posted them online. Without further ado, let's check what the new Huawei flagships have in store for us.

As usual with the Huawei P series, the main focal point is the camera setup. Previously, rumours have it that both phones will have a Penta rear camera setup but in this latest leak, it says otherwise. The P40 Pro sports a 50MP UltraVision (RYYB 4-in-1 Pixel-Binning, f/1.9, OIS) + 40MP ultrawide (+video) + 12MP SuperSensing telephoto lens (f/3.4) triple rear camera. The P40 also has a similar setup except that its ultrawide lens is just 16MP and uses an 8MP telephoto lens. Then for the front camera, both phones are housing a 32MP (f/2.2) sensor with an infrared sensor.

The colour options for both devices

Moving on, the P40 Pro and P40 phone are carrying a 4200mAh and 3800mAh battery respectively. Both phones are relatively quite large, the P40 is using a 6.1-inch OLED display, whereas the P40 Pro has a 6.58-inch OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. Of course, the P40 Pro has a bigger memory storage as well with up to 256GB (nano memory card support).

Besides that, the Kirin 990 chipset is expected on both devices, running on 8GB of RAM and having 128GB internal storage as the starting baseline. Huawei Mobile Services will definitely be present too.
