Based on a statement by LetsGoDigital.com, it seems that Xiaomi recently filed a patent which details a smartphone that comes equipped with a removable display. Other than that, it seems that the aforementioned smartphone is expected to come equipped with an under-display selfie camera.
While not much is known in regards to the exact details for the removable screen device, our source did mention that the display can be used even while it is separated from the phone’s body. With that said, the detached display could act as a viewfinder when taking pictures as well as other functionality in gaming.
Do take every bit of information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Xiaomi has yet to provide an official statement on the leak. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs for such a device.
