G.SKILL, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of extreme performance memory and gaming peripherals, announced two new DDR4 memory series that are designed and tested specifically for the new AMD Ryzen platform. They are the Flare X series and FORTIS series of memory kits.
G.Skill Flare X
The G.Skill Flare X series of DDR4 memory kits marks the return of the high performance Flare series. Built using IC chips that were carefully tested and validated on the AM4 platform, it is designed for best compatibility and stability when used along with the AMD Ryzen processor.
G.Skill FORTIS
The G.SKILL FORTIS series is designed as the most ideal and cost effective DDR4 solution for building a performance AM4 gaming system without sacrificing reliability and compatibility.
Specifications & Availability
The Flare X and FORTIS series will both be available in DDR4-2133MHz and DDR4-2400MHz configurations upon release, in capacity ranging from 16GB to 64GB. Besides that, the Flare X series will be available in higher memory frequency speeds up to DDR4-3200MHz and DDR4-3466MHz too. Both Flare X and FORTIS series will be available via G.SKILL’s worldwide distribution partners in March 2017.
