So this just came in, according to the latest Twitter post by Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd - they will be closing down GSC Pavilion Kuala Lumpur officially on 17 February 2020. With that, there are still 10 days left for anyone else who would like to visit the cinema before it ceases operation.

In addition, the Twitter post also mentioned that anyone nearby that area can still go to other GSC branches. There's still GSC Berjaya Times Square, GSC Quill City Mall, and GSC MyTOWN, Cheras. Although there is no official statement on why it's closing, but one of our readers told us in a private message that the reason was because GSC Pavilion got replaced by a Chinese cinema operator, Nan Hai Corp. Hmm...

Personally, I don't think a lot of people do visit GSC Pavilion that regularly especially if compared with GSC Mid Valley and GSC 1 Utama. Also the rent is too damn high in Pavilion KL so that could be another reason for the closedown but what do you think? Will you miss it once it's gone? Stay tuned for more GSC news at TechNave.com.
