It looks like GSC will be entering the video streaming industry with this new partnership. The company has recently worked with GetPlay to allow users directly stream content on mobile devices through the GSC and GetPlay apps.
In the GSC app which offers moviegoers to buy tickets, there will be a new dedicated tab named GSC Now for the mentioned purpose. Although it didn't reveal anything comprehensive yet, its partner GetPlay has given a rough idea of how it works.
The GetPlay app also has a tab with the same name, and it displays movies like Kungfu Yoga, CZ12, The Last Witch Hunter and more after users tap on it. To stream them, users will have to buy "tickets", and it's ten tickets for RM5. For instance, if you wanted to watch The Last Witch Hunter, you would need two of them. Besides paid content, the platform also offers free ones for users to enjoy.
GSC still hasn't announced any information regarding the official launch of the GSC Now. Before that happens, leave a comment to let us know what you think, and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more local tech reports.
