In case you missed it - the GWM ORA 07 has officially launched in Malaysia. There are two models, as usual, a Long Range Ultra and Performance variant at the price of RM169,800 and RM189,800, respectively. Read more about the cars below:
The Long Range Ultra gets a Front-Wheel Drive that outputs 204 PS and 340 Nm for 640 km of range (NEDC). Meanwhile, the All-Wheel Drive powered Performance variant sports 408 PS and 680 Nm for 550 km of range and can sprint in 4.3 seconds from 0-100 km/h. The battery capacity boasts an impressive 83.499 kWh, which can be charged from 30% to 80% in 32 minutes via DC fast charging. Moreover, it also has an ultra-low drag coefficient with an aerodynamic optimisation of 0.22 Cd.
In terms of outlook, the GWM ORA 07 has a closed grille design and LED highlights. The door handles are hidden and the electric rear spoiler adds a dynamic vibe. On top of the vehicle is a panoramic glass roof and in the interior, the seats are covered with premium leather. The T-shaped centre console has a rotating control panel, and the company even integrated a massage and 50W wireless charging functions.
The GWM ORA 07 has a 3.3kw vehicle-to-load (V2L) function so it can act as a power outlet to charge appliances for outdoor occasions. On top of that, it's also equipped with L2 Intelligent Driving Assist, such as the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Intelligent Cruise Assistant (ICA), Parking Distance Control (PDC) and more.
The full vehicle warranty covers up to 6 years of 150,000 km and 8 years warranty with a coverage of up to 180,000 km for power battery, electric motor, and electric motor control unit, whichever comes first. Additionally, owners will have a 12-year car rust and corrosion warranty and GWM Malaysia will offer a one-to-one battery replacement, on the condition that the battery's State of Charge fails below 70%.
The first 500 GWM ORA 07 customers will also get a complimentary home wall box charger and an additional 2-year warranty (8 years or 180,000 km), whichever comes first for a full vehicle warranty, on top of the warranty package mentioned above. That's not all, existing GWM owners will receive an exclusive RM3000 Loyalty Offer when they purchase this EV, as a token of gratitude.
