Have you ever wished the app for your device could do more? A lot of mobile apps, especially those for wearables, tend to be fairly simple. In the case of the Samsung Galaxy Buds, an enterprising user decided to build a third-party app to get more out of it when used with a Windows PC.

According to Wccftech, an unofficial third-party app for the first generation Galaxy Buds was unveiled on Reddit. It's called the Galaxy Buds Manager and was created by German student Tim Schneeberger. You're probably wondering, what makes this different from the official Galaxy Wearable mobile app? Well, the Galaxy Buds Manager comes with a few extra features that are not available in the official Galaxy Wearable mobile app.

A better view of the battery usage

The app was built to have a similar design to Samsung's OneUI theme and has an auto-update feature built into it. In terms of features, some of the notable ones include more precise tracking of battery level, additional equaliser settings, and extra touchpad options. It's also able to display a lot more debugging and hardware information, though that may not be all that relevant for the average user.

It's great to see how an app can do more for the TWS earbuds, but keep in mind that this is a third-party app and is not officially endorsed by Samsung.
