DXOMARK recently unveiled the DXOMARK Display Score, which will be used to determine which smartphone has the best display. With that being said, DXOMARK has determined that the top 3 smartphones with the best displays go to the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 Ultra, as well as the OnePlus 8 Pro which scored 89, 87, and 88 points respectively.
In terms of the test methodology, DXOMark evaluates the display’s readability, colour, video, motion, touch, as well as artifacts using a dedicated testing lab called the Display Bench, that’s equipped with a bunch of specialized equipment to test smartphones. That being said, this will give the user a better idea of how a smartphone will perform in terms of web browsing, gaming, watching movies, night reading, viewing pictures, and more.
