If you're looking for a new game to play in the next few days, a good way is to browse Steam or the Microsoft Store often. And it turns out there's a pretty good third-person shooter that's available for free. Gears 5 is currently available to download and play on Steam, giving you a chance to blast some aliens and relieve some stress without having to pay for it.
From now till 12 April 2020, Gears 5 will be temporarily free to play on Steam and Wthe Microsoft Store. That's about 5 days left, which should be more than enough for you to complete the single-player campaign. If you're fast, you could even have some multiplayer fun before the free period ends. Of course, you could always just buy the game, as it is relatively cheap at RM95.
According to PC Gamer, this offer is part of the Xbox Free Play Days. It's normally an exclusive service for Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate members but is available on Steam this time.
