In the last few months, Google has been working on expanding its Gemini platform. More apps that integrate with it, new features, and more. One of them is Gemini Live, a platform that lets you 'converse' with the AI, and it's now free.

Google officially confirmed this via a post on its Google Gemini App account. Specifically, Gemini Live is now free of charge and will soon roll out to more Android users. But first, you will have to download the app from the Google Play Store. Once installed, open the app and tap the 'Live' icon to start conversing with the AI.

For those unaware, Gemini Live was previously available only if you have a premium subscription to Gemini Advanced. Making it free of charge means more people will have access to it. Mind you, it also means Google would have more data from users to train its AIs, as well as voice data to collect. Perhaps the AI could even perfectly replicate your voice someday.

Well, we're not here to doompost or anything. So, just be aware that you can now use Gemini Live for free. It's a useful platform for people who need a soundboard to bounce their ideas with, ask for ideas in turn, or even rehearse a speech. What do you think?
