As we enter the newly announced Condition Movement Control Order (CMCO) period, it is essential that all Malaysians must already know about the Gerak Malaysia app. Since we are still partially under lockdown, Malaysians must make use of the app in order to move across the state. In line with this, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) have released the latest FAQs for everyone.

There are 2 FAQs links given by the MCMC where you can download right here, popular questions include the Gerak Malaysia app time usage, inter-travel schedules and many more. One of the popular questions that we read is 'when can one travel between states or countries?' From the answer given in the FAQ, it is written that anyone can sign up for the Interstate Travel after downloading the app and between 4-5 May, you will need to provide the necessary address details of your destination for the PDRM.

To add on, movements will be allowed from 7-10 May 2020. They also have written an itinerary to streamline the traffic flow. You can check out the timetable below:

We also spotted another silly but innocent question, but no, the Gerak Malaysia app cannot help identify a person under investigation (PUI), an individual observation (PUS) and Covid-19 patients. By the way, the app can be downloaded in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and the Huawei AppGallery as well.

Remember to abide by the rules and all will go back to normal! Stay safe, wash your hands regularly and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
