Fighting games fans are in for a treat. After the recent release of Street Fighters 6, Mortal Kombat 1 and Guilty Gear Striving, another popular fighting game will join the fray soon. According to Gamescom 2023, Tekken 8 will arrive this 26 January 2024. That said, what should you know about the game?
Fun fact, this is the tenth entry in the Tekken series. The latest instalment will feature 32 fighters with distinct fighting styles and gameplay. Based on the trailer, this game could mark the beginning of a new saga for the Tekken games after the death of antagonist Heihachi Mishima in Tekken 7.
On top of that, it will feature a new single-player mode called Arcade Quest. In this mode, you will create your fighter and compete in various Tekken tournaments. Interestingly, your character can also go to a virtual arcade in the game. Talk about art imitating life.
