Based on a report by thestar.com.my, Indonesian’s most popular motorcycle hailing service called Go-Jek could be available in Malaysia very soon. Based on a statement by Entrepreneur Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Reduan Yusof, it might take about a month or two for the Youth and Sports Ministry as well as the Transport Ministry to work on the kinks before allowing the service to roll-out in Malaysia.

This is to ensure that there will be no legal friction as possible, between the bike-hailing service and the authorities. To those who are not familiar with the name, Go-Jek offers much of the same service as you would find on Grab such as transportation, food delivery, parcel delivery and more. However, the main difference between the two is that Go-Jek focuses primarily on Motorcycles as their main mode of transportation instead of 4 wheeled vehicles like Sedans, SUV, and 4x4 Trucks.
