GoPro HERO9 Black Malaysia release: 5K resolution and HyperSmooth 3.0, priced at RM2,099

GoPro HERO9 Black has arrived in Malaysia today by bringing upgrades to every aspect of its predecessor. The HERO9 Black will now feature a new sensor that delivers 5K video and 20MP photos. Let's take a look at other new features that the tiny action camera has brought together with it!

Besides a new improved sensor, the HERO9 Black will also come with HyperSmooth 3.0 to offer better video stabilization with in-camera horizon leveling. There is a new 1.4-inch colour display and a larger 2.27-inch rear touch display as well to allow users to navigate at ease. For battery performance, it is said that the HERO9 Black will offer 30% more battery life compared to the HERO8 Black. Other features include TimeWarp 3.0, 1080p live streaming, 1080p Webcam mode, voice control in 11 languages, advanced wind-noise reduction, and more.

Other than launching the HERO9 Black, the company has also brought a new accessory to the market and it's the Max Lens Mod for HERO9 Black. With it, users can get the Max HyperSmooth video stabilization that comes with less distortion. There is also the Max SuperView that offers up to 2.7K60 resolution for ultra-wide scenes. The Max Lens Mod will allow for horizon lock as well even when the camera is rotating at a full 360-degree. 

For the price, the HERO9 Black is now on sale for RM2,099 while the price for Max Lens Mod will be announced later. The first 400 customers who purchase the Hero9 Black will also receive an extra rechargeable battery and win weekly prizes up to RM1,000 cash vouchers.
