Today, GoPro unveiled a new 360-degree compact camera in Malaysia. Dubbed the GoPro Max 360, it is retailing for RM1,799, and customers can now pre-order it starting today. Meanwhile, the Polar White Hero 13 was also announced for RM1,999.
Kicking off the tech specs, the GoPro Max 360 features a 5.6K spherical camera and now comes with a MAX Enduro Battery. It also has an upgraded mounting system, making it compatible with all standard ¼-20 tripod mounts. Designed to capture 360-degree video and photos, the camera features two lenses, each with a wide field of view that works together.

Moreover, the GoPro device has a built-in LCD touchscreen that allows easy control of settings and footage previewing. There are a total of six microphones for capturing 360-degree ambisonic audio on the device, and it is also water-resistant. Other than that, GoPro also integrated the aforementioned Enduro battery for better cold-weather performance and an AI-powered object-tracking function.
To celebrate the launch, the first 50 customers buying the GoPro Max and Hero 13 Polar White will receive a 4 ft Pole and Magnetic Mount, respectively. The GoPro Max 360 is available for purchase now at authorized GoPro retailers (Flash Gadgets, RAPTORSPRO, TMT Thundermatch, ALL IT and N4CameraStore), as well as the Official GoPro Shopee.

In addition, GoPro Premium and Premium+ subscribers also get unlimited cloud storage and can now edit 360 footage directly from the cloud. Desktop editors can also get Reframe in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects with the all-new GoPro Reframe plugin. Finally, the GoPro Quik app is available on both iOS and Android.
