When it comes to action cameras, the first brand that comes to mind is the GoPro. Specifically, the GoPro HERO series. However, the company has other models that don't receive an annual refresh. One of them is the GoPro Max 360, which is being reintroduced with upgrades.

According to GoPro, the GoPro Max 360 (2025) offers some upgrades in hardware and software. The refresh model now packs an upgraded mounting system, making it compatible with standard 1/4-20 tripod mounts. It also uses the newer MAX Enduro battery (1600mAh), which allows it to function even in extreme cold (as low as -10°C).

On the software side, the GoPro Max 360 is now compatible with the Quik App's improved 360 video editing feature. It also supports AI-powered Object Tracking, custom camera 'views' with Keyframing, cinematic camera movements via CameraFx, and more. Users can also export footage from the camera to a desktop PC for more editing. This can be done with the Reframe plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

The GoPro Max 360 (2025) retails in the US for USD349.99 (~RM1551), but local price and availability have not been confirmed. Would you buy one if it launches here? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
