Over the past two decades, GoPro has grown into a reliable and popular brand for outdoor enthusiasts. Recently, the company released the new Hero12 Black camera for a better user experience. That said, what should you know about this camera?

For your information, the new device runs up to 2x longer run time. You can continuously record for around 70 minutes on the 5.3K60 HDR settings (highest setting), over 95 minutes at 5.3K30 and over 155 minutes at 1080p30. Interestingly, the run time for these settings was recorded with HyperSmooth 6.0 video stabilisation on.

On top of that, it features the 5.3K, 4K HDR resolution and 1080 resolution. It also sports the Max Lens Mod 2.0 Accessory to offer you a wider field of view when capturing widescreen video and a 48% taller field of view when capturing vertical video. Moreover, the Look-Up Tables (LUT) allow you to have more control over post-production editing and colour grading.

In addition, the Hero12 Black is compatible with both Androids and iOS. Hence, you can record audio straight to HERO12 Black from Bluetooth® devices such as Apple AirPods, earbuds, headphones and microphones. That’s great for vlogging, scene narration and issuing voice commands to control your HERO12 Black from a distance.

If this camera catches your attention, you can get it at selected retailers nationwide from 13 September 2023 onwards. The Hero12 Black is available at a retail price of RM1999 while the price for Max Lens Mod 2.0 starts at RM519. On the other hand, you can get the HERO12 Black Creator Edition for RM2999.
