Google has officially announced Android 17, rolling out to Pixel devices first before it hits other eligible devices. The update introduces floating app Bubbles for fast multitasking, the creator-focused Screen Reactions tool, an optimized 50/50 foldable gaming mode with native controller remapping, and more. We've already got the update on our Pixel 10 Pro here in Malaysia but be warned as it's a big 1.54GB download.
Other features and the June Pixel Drop
Android 17 also includes proactive Gemini Intelligence features, expanded Parental Controls to all Android devices, a dedicated volume slider for your assistant, an expanded dark theme setting, a toggle to hide app names on the home screen, and strict app memory limits to safeguard RAM and battery life. The recent June Pixel Drop also revealed Gemini Omni and the Music feature for the mobile Gemini app.

Which of these new Android 17 features are you most interested in trying? For us, it would be enough if it led to a few more hours of battery life but we'll have to wait and see about that. Share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more updates.
