Google Chrome is blocking the UBlock Origin plugin

According to The Verge, Ublock Origin's ad-blocking plugin has stopped working on the Google Chrome web browser today. This happens because this plugin that uses Manifest V2 is no longer supported by Chrome. That’s because it has moved to Manifest V3. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, this is seen as Google's effort to prevent users from blocking the display of advertising that is important for generating revenue. Although the barrier has started to appear, it has not been activated for all users. We tried this plugin a while ago and it still works on the latest version of Chrome we're using. The future of Ublock Origin has been dark since 2019 when Google announced the move to Manifest V3.

Since last year ad blocker users have also been given various warnings when browsing YouTube. Among the things that are done is that the video cannot be played and they are advised to turn off the plug-in or subscribe to YouTube Premium. We have yet to confirm other details. Hopefully, everything will be sorted out soon.
