Based on a blog entry posted on the Chromium Blog, Google will remove ads that hogs too much of the device’s system resource, making the user experience much more enjoyable especially for those with limited internet data. This is due to the fact that Google recently discovered that some of the ads use up much more battery and bandwidth than usual, which can be a problem especially for those who signed up with telco that provides very limited internet data.

While there is no news on when they will release a feature that automatically removes ads that use up too much bandwidth, we can expect it to be made available to the public somewhere around August 2020. With all that said, what are your thoughts on Google Chrome removing ads that use up too much system resource of your device?
