Previously, we mentioned how Google aborted its plans to end third-party cookie support. Now, the tech giant has introduced a new feature that might please you. So, what should you know about it?

According to Windows Report, when you open many tabs on Chrome, memory and CPU usage will usually increase. This is something that many people have already identified. This new feature will warn users which tabs are reducing web browser performance and which are using excessive CPU power.

In addition, Google also includes a Fix Now button to fix problems and restore Chrome's performance. For now, this feature is still in testing. It can only be tested on Chrome Canary via chrome://flags > enable #performance-intervention-ui and #performance-intervention-demo-mode > restart Chrome > Go to Settings-Performance-General.

But that is not the end of it, you also need to make sure Performance Issue Alert is enabled > Then go to chrome://discards and select Trigger performance CPU intervention.
